What is the problem?
Fuel can back up, creating unstable combustion and a pressure build up inside the firebox and glass can break, posing a laceration hazard.
How can I tell if I own this product?
This recall involves Quadra-Fire Mt. Vernon E2 pellet stoves and inserts. The cast iron pellet stove is about 32 inches high, 28 inches wide, 29 inches deep and has a matte black, sienna bronze, porcelain mahogany or porcelain black finish. The inserts are about 34 inches wide in front by 24 inches high by 15 inches deep. The viewing area is 21 inches by 14 inches and has a matte black, sienna bronze or porcelain mahogany finish.
